6. Repeat One Time

Introduction:

You have completed the first cycle!  You have began by dividing your city into to Zones. Then you started prayer walking looking for someone to ask one question to.  Then you went into their homes and started teaching the twenty lessons from the National Bible Reading Campaign.  They came to Christ and needed to be in a group.  You stayed after this for weeks and even years watching this new group become an active part of your cell church.  You have taken someone through the Leadership books and the Kingdom Doctrinal Track and now what.  You are finished! Unlike the traditional church that keeps teaching and teaching and stops reaching out you will go back to step one!  You will begin prayer walking again or taking one of you new leaders through this process.  I pray you understand the importance of teaching others to teach others.  That is why the foundational verse for this step is

2 Timothy 2:2 “ You have heard me teach many things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses.  Teach these great truths to trustworthy people who are able to pass them on to others.”

• Who was Paul talking to in this verse?
• What did Paul want Timothy to do?
• What did Paul want the ones that Timothy taught to do?

MAWL

This is also known as the Model, Assist, Watch and Leave method.  During this process you will feel like a little kid that is trying to stack blocks as high as he can.  These blocks represent the number of hours you will spend teaching all these lessons to someone.  Remember what happens to those blocks when they get too high, they fall over and you start again.  Be prepared for this to happen many times.  You will personally see that only the Lord can build His church.  You will experience many moments of humility when your  NEW CONVERT (not the Lords) who  just prayed  a prayer and started reading his Bible is now back in the world serving his flesh again. This was not strange to Paul as he also had some of his converts go back into the world (Colossians 4:14;  Philemon 1:24 ; 2 Timothy 4:10)  !

Summary

Well what are you waiting for! Get in the Zone and “Find One Person!” Oh! Wait…..remember to take someone with you this time.  This concludes the lessons.  If you have noticed this is not strong on depth of Scripture but expects a maximum amount of obedience.  What do you think Jesus will say to you if you have read every devotion and commentary that exists on Planet earth and have not led one person to saving faith in Christ.  On the other had what if you spent all you time taking the Gospel to people and watching their lives change one by one.  Think about this for a second and you are sure to come to the right conclusion.  People need Jesus!  He will change their lives, give them hope and love that can only come from the Father in Heaven.  May the Lord bless our efforts to keep reaching out to a lost and dying world until HE COMES!
